We're thrilled to reintroduce one of our most beloved seasonal creations: the Umeshu Basque Cheesecake. Rich, creamy, and delicately infused with umeshu (Japanese plum wine), this cheesecake is our take on a grown-up indulgence, made for sharing or savouring slowly.

This time around, we’ve added kokutou (Japanese black sugar) to the mix, which gives the cheesecake an even deeper, more mellow sweetness (まろやか). The balance of floral, fruity acidity and gentle richness makes this cake both elegant and comforting.

Serving Tip:
Best enjoyed slightly chilled. Let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving to bring out the depth of flavour.

Please Note:

Due to the natural characteristics of umeshu (Japanese plum wine), some cakes may develop slightly purple or greyish marks on the surface over time. This is a natural result of a mild tannin reaction and is completely safe to eat. It may look a little like bruising, but it does not affect the flavour or quality of the cake.


All our cheesecakes are handmade, so slight variations in appearance may occur.
